This place is clean, the staff at the reception desk are helpful, and the rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and have comfortable beds.

the really good and very welcoming staff on the reception desk provided all the necessary info. i booked an a double room with central heating, an individual safe, and pay tv. the location was great and beautiful, in the center of the city, convenient to go everywhere.

The location was historic and the best - easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The restaurant here was elegant with very inviting staff and service, we both ordered delicious dishes.

This place is a spacious unit located close to the water and the city center, with easy access to the Royal Palace, in a serene and peaceful neighborhood.

Bathroom sinks are weird - no sink - just a tap running into a drain and a little dish to fill - prefer old fashioned sink with a plug any day! Not informed that kettle for room was available on request but hotel of this order should have tea/coffee making facilities in room Discovered too late that free bikes were available to residents - not listed in brochure that I could see Rooms a little too small - insufficient storage and hanging space for clothes

We chose to stay at the Skeppsholmen after intensive reading of travel websites and especially reviews submitted by previous guests of the hotel. What intrigued us most was the location, which has a countryside setting while actually being only a brief 10-15 minute walk from the heart of Stockholm. The desk staff was particularly responsive to our needs, including an "emergency" request for a voltage converter after we accidentally fried the one we had brought with us. Also the loan of umbrellas in case it rained (it didn't). We would highly recommend the Skeppsholmen and look forward to our next stay. The best place to spend a night or a week in Stockholm!

The location was amazing, right by an island which is a 10-minute walk from the city center. the hotel was fabulous and quiet, I would have stayed for longer.

The setting is beautiful, in a park, yet not so far from downtown that you cannot walk.

There were never enough staff people at reception. There was only 1 and this resulted in long lines at any time of day or night.

Comfortable and stylish room with a fantastic bed.

The bath stuff was really nice, as were the staff.

Transport links weren't as easy as I had thought

It is a wonderful hotel, to which I keep returning. The rooms are nicely designed and comfortable, even the smallest ones (except for the sink that is so designed that you cannot really use it as sink). The staff is exceptionally friendly and kind. A great asset of the hotel. The space is extremely beautiful: an island with lots of green, the modern museum in front of the hotel and then only five minutes to the city centre.

As in all cases there are still things that could be improved: it would be good to have facilities to make tea/coffee. It would be nice if the breakfast was really ready at 7:00 as scheduled.

The hotel is in a very central setting close to everything. We were adjacent to downtown shops, restaurants, museums, the palace, ferries to the old town.

It was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful in arranging for an early morning check-out, transportation and even a sandwich!

The hotel hosted a party that went on until 10pm. It is not too late but then, my room was directly overlooking the party and the music was playing a bit loud for my taste.

Airy rooms complete with tub facing the garden on ground level, water views, candles, competent staff.

I dined at a lovely restaurant serving modern Swedish dishes in a cozy atmosphere, set in a historic location near a state museum.
